The transfer from Host Monster to Host Gator is finally complete! Thanks so much to Frugal Zeitgeist for taking care of all of that for me!
What did I learn from this transfer? I am an addict – a complete blogging addict. Since backups have to be run and the sites have to download again to the new host, I wasn’t able to touch my blogs from midnight on Sunday all the way until this morning…that is more than 2 days with no blogging! I was getting the shakes people!
Seriously, it’s hard not to login and reply to comments. It’s also hard not to tweak posts or write new ones. BTW, sorry I completely missed my Crystal Light Update. I’ll be able to get it done this week.
I have about 20 emails waiting for me at home with all the notes to myself I’ve set aside for the last 2 days, lol. Most if not all of my evening will be spent catching up with those emails and writing up a few post ideas I’ve been batting back and forth in my head.
I know I have an addictive personality and I know that I love blogging, but this surprised even me. I’ve taken vacations before and was fine. But apparently, when I am at home and have a laptop nearby, I do not know what to do with myself, lol.
I’m not sure if this addiction is a problem or not. I’m not blowing off social events and it even brings in money, so I think this is an addiction I don’t wanna kick. I’m going to happily defer to my blog-loving side and keep on keeping on.
What addictions do you have? Any you want to keep?
I would have had serious withdrawal too!!!

@Money Reasons, Host Monster offered to start a ticket to see if I could get moved to a different server, but I was just too frustrated with them at that point…
@First Gen, escape is actually good for the mind apparently. It allows you to de-stress subconciously. Don’t get burnt out, but I hope you know that your readers (at least me for sure) enjoy your thoughts and think you are very much a part of our “real world”.
@Nicole, glad to see that I’m not the only one, lol.
MosterHost and Bluehost are sister sites (they may even be at the same building in the same data center for all I know…).
I still might move sometime next year, we’ll see
At least they will give me my money back (prorated of course)…
